Wow !!!!!! how long has it been?

How are you all doing out there. Great to be back and I want to say a very big thank you to all of you who kept up with my blog posts. I read each and every one and I appreciate you comments so much. 

Aside from ill health, I began to have tech issues but anyway it's good to be back. What better way to round up the year than with a lovely New year's eve outfit. 

Unlike last year, in which I designed the outfit myself, this year didn't see me doing any of that as time became a big issue.

As I writ this blog post, I'm going to let you in on something that happened to me towards the end of the year. As many of you may know, I'm Catholic and as a practicing Catholic going to Mass becomes part of your routine. 

On this fateful day after I had dropped my baby at school, and headed on my way to the church as the Mass was going on, I began to hear noises and people talking. Usually I tend to like to seat in the front pews while in church and then all this raucous and the congregation were shouting in French "Attention Pere !!!!" meaning Watch out Rev. Father !!!!. At this time I still had no clue what was going on until I heard it. I've never seen one, nor been so close to anything like it. I froze and my legs gave way. All I had learnt concerning safety left my head. My first instinct was to bolt and run and then he raised the gun ready to shoot and asked everyone to keep quiet that he wanted to speak. Then and only then did I remember to crouch I then remembered that my phone was in my hand. At that time was when I made to call the police. 

Unbelievable!!!! The numbers weren't going through . Somebody call the police, there's an armed terrorist in the church. It dawned on me at that moment that I was seated on the 3rd row of the 3rd pew.

Panic, I imagined he was going to start shooting, I imagined how I would die, but then mercy said NO. 

Till today I don't know how I got out of that church to call my husband nor speak to anyone.`But here I am. I was shaken I was so damn scared, but guess what I kept going to Mass every blessed day even though my heart was thumping so hard that it could burst. I was so scared for my baby as he's a Mass server, but alas, I'm here and all I have are these words; Thank God that I am here, We are here. It could've been a totally different story but He made the story change to a testimony. And on that note guys, I want to wish you all a wonderful and prosperous New year ahead. Don't stop, don't quit. The devil may try and that's all he can do try, but we don't make him triumph.
